Overview

This training offers a comprehensive exploration of 5G/6G networks, emphasizing their significance for the European Union. It covers foundational knowledge, security and privacy concerns, and advanced techniques that will shape future wireless networks.

The training combines theoretical insights with practical cases, addressing common myths, potential risks in terms of privacy & security, and the opportunities and TU Delft’s research activities in the evolving landscape of wireless communication.

In Part I of this training, we will specifically focus on (i) Basic knowledge of 5G/6G networks and its importance for EU, and (ii) Potential Privacy Issues in 5G/6Gnetworks. The training also includes on-site Demos of the 5G testbed built in TU Delft.

  • Identify and address security and privacy issuesspecific to these networks.
  • Highlight the role and impact of AI and advancedtechnologies for 5G and beyond networks

Prerequisites

  • Some basic knowledge of telecommunications and general concepts of data security and privacy.
